from Dr. Sean Kennedy, AACD President

It is my pleasure to announce the results of the special election to fill the vacant AACD Vice-President/President-Elect position.  

Dr. Michael P. Smith is unanimously elected Vice-President/President-Elect of the AACD, effective immediately. 

On behalf of the AACD, I wish to thank the many members who took the opportunity to vote.

Dear Members,

The Board of Directors recently voted to update the bylaws in order to be consistent with our name change.  We have edited the bylaws so that it encompasses the OR team rather than just anesthesiologists/anesthesia.  The edited bylaws will be voted on during the AACD Annual Business meeting held, Saturday, October 13.  All questions regarding the bylaws changes, should be directed to Nicole Bradle at n.bradle@asahq.org.

Renewal is now available online for current members and past members.   Dues income is the number one source of revenue for our Association and is used in variety of ways to provide programs and services to members.
